How EvolveX handles data

Live monitoring

• Video is analysed on the device or server the customer runs EvolveX on. It is not sent to us or to any other service.
• EvolveX does not recognise faces or identify people. It finds people, follows them within one camera's view, and scores two behaviours: loitering and fighting.
• When it raises an alert, it saves one annotated snapshot and a log line (time, camera, behaviour, score). It can also send the alert by email or webhook, to addresses the customer sets.
• Snapshots and logs stay in the customer's storage (local disk, or their own database and Cloudflare R2 bucket) until the customer deletes them. EvolveX does not delete them automatically.

Training data

• Models are trained only on footage labelled in EvolveX Studio. We use no pretrained models, public datasets or labels made by other models.
• We use footage from a site for training only with the written permission of the site owner.
• Training footage and labels are stored in private storage that only the EvolveX team can access. They are never published, and are never included in the code repository or the model downloads.
• Fighting examples are recorded with actors who have agreed to take part, or come from the permitted site footage.
• A site owner can ask us to delete their footage. We delete it from training storage, and later generations are trained without it.

Datasets by Gen

For each generation, we publish counts, not footage: videos, labelled frames, labelled people, fight seconds and the split into training, validation and test.

What we publish

• Model files, test results and dataset counts for each Gen, on the Generations page.
• Pilot results with the site anonymised, only with the site owner's agreement.
• Screens and videos on this website use simulated scenes and demo data, not real footage.

This website

• The home page records each visit (IP address, device, browser language and time zone, pages viewed, and where you came from) so we can follow up on enquiries. Each visit is emailed to us.
• Your approximate location (city and country) is looked up from your IP address inside our own server, using DB-IP's free database. Your IP address is not sent to any other service for this.
• When you send the contact form, your name, email address, organisation, phone number and message, with your IP address and approximate location, are emailed to us and kept in our database so we can reply. You can ask us to delete them.
• If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) carries that conversation under its own terms and privacy policy; we see your WhatsApp name, number and messages.
• Known bots are ignored. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
• Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it serves them.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Site owners can ask us to delete their footage from training. Contact us.
